TumbleRocks is a professional tumbling service. You hunt,You find them. We do the noisy, messy, weeks-long part.
You get the shiny rocks. We get the slurry, the grit, the noise, and the mess.
Mail us your rough rocks. We run coarse grit, pre-polish, and polish, and clean between every stage so grit never carries over. You get dry, polished stones back. Nothing to dump. No noise, No mess and No hassle.
How a batch works
- Open Professional Rock Tumbling. Enter pounds, rock type if you know it, and the size of the largest piece. Pay tumbling ($12/lb,) plus shipping both ways-USPS return postage.
- We email your order number and the address to ship to. Pack the rough, write the order number on the box, and mail it in. You pay that inbound label.
- We log the bag and run Stage 1 (60/90 grit) in a rotary tumbler until the rock will take a shine. That is often 2–12 weeks, longer on hard or pitted material.
- Stage 2 — 220 grit in a vibratory tumbler about 2 days, then 5–7 ultrasonic cleanings.
- Stage 3 — 600 grit in the vibe about 2 days, then 5–7 ultrasonic cleanings.
- Stage 4 — polish about 2 days, then 2–3 ultrasonic cleanings. We dry the stones and ship them back on the USPS service you chose at checkout.
