- Open Professional Rock Tumbling. Enter pounds, rock type if you know it, and the size of the largest piece. Pay tumbling ($12lb , plus USPS return postage.)
- We email your order number and the address to ship to. Pack the rough, write the order number on the box, and mail it in. You pay for the inbound label.
- We log the bag and run Stage 1 (60/90 grit) in a rotary tumbler until the rock will take a shine. That is often 2–12 weeks, longer on hard or pitted material.
- Stage 2 — 220 grit in a vibratory tumbler about 2 days, then 5–7 ultrasonic cleanings.
- Stage 3 — 600 grit in the vibe about 2 days, then 5–7 ultrasonic cleanings.
- Stage 4 — polish about 2 days, then 2–3 ultrasonic cleanings. We dry the stones and ship them back on the USPS service you chose at checkout.
